We also cover hospital and dialysis trips for you, the costs of which are covered by your health insurance. Billing is then handled directly through your health insurance, and you only pay the statutory co-payment for the trip. (Exception: if you have an exemption card).

For patients with health restrictions, statutory health insurance companies will cover the cost of a taxi in certain cases. This applies, for example, to necessary trips to inpatient hospital treatment or dialysis. The responsible physician confirms whether the trip is medically necessary. You submit a corresponding application for travel expenses to your health insurance provider. Some trips do not require approval from the insurance provider—a transport voucher is sufficient in such cases. This applies, for example, to inpatient discharge trips.

We bill the health insurance company directly

If your health insurance company approves the trip, everything else is simple. You order a taxi to take you to your treatment. You simply pay the legally required co-payment at the end of the trip.

We will settle the costs for the entire trip directly with your health insurance provider.
